Indian weddings are so full of life and color. Margi and Vishal’s Biltmore Estate wedding was NO exception. We are obsessed with how wonderful this wedding was . This couple was tons of fun and it was so enjoyable getting to capture all the amazing details and moments that occurred over their three day Asheville wedding extravaganza.

Now let’s hear a bit more about this amazing couple in their own words.
A bit about Margi- I was born in India and moved to the states in 2000. Spent most of my life in Indianapolis and went to Purdue. I’m currently a clinical pharmacist working from home!
A bit about Vishal- Vishal was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida at a very young age. He spent most of his life there including med school before moving to West Virginia for residency in 2020.
How did you meet? – We met on an online app called Dil Mil during Covid!
Describe your first date? – Vishal came to Indianapolis to spend a weekend with me. We went around town and I showed him around my hometown; that also included watching football in the evenings (our favorite thing to do). Our first date was nothing but memorable and we will never forget. We ended up in the ER at the end of the weekend due to Vishal having an inflamed knee!
How long have you been together? – 3 years
What are your favorite hobbies and activities to do as a couple? – We both love trying new things and exploring! Some of our favorite activities are hiking, board games, trying new food places, rooftops, and outdoor activities
Who popped the question and HOW? – Vishal popped the question on our first official out of state trip together in Seattle, WA at North Cascades National Park which took me by surprise completely!
Why did you pick Asheville and the Biltmore Estate? – This honestly was a very random decision due to the nature and views Asheville has. Vishal initiated the Asheville conversation and we all sort of followed the idea!
What tangible detail of your wedding day did you love the most? – I wore a pendant on my waist that held a picture of my late grandmother who I always wanted by my side at my wedding.
How many guests attended the wedding? 370
What is the one of the funniest things that happened over your wedding weekend? – I think there were a lot of funny moments at the wedding but my favorite has to be when Vishal’s best friend, Brian, did the first look with him before me!
What stood out to you the most when you think of your wedding? – How meaningful and emotional our wedding ceremony was! We both did not think it would effect us so much but the love and energy in that mandap area from our family and and friends was a lot of different feelings! We won’t ever forget it.
What is on your “bucket list” to do together as a married couple? – Right now it has to be taking an international trip together as we haven’t done one one together and I’ve never had a true international trip outside of going back home to India!
