We adore this Asheville wedding. Jordan and Pat chose the Omni Grove Park Inn for their wedding venue and we could not have been more stunned at the beauty of their day! It is easy to see why people travel from all over the country to have an Asheville wedding. Our mountains, and the vibe here is unmatched.
This is one of the best luxury Asheville weddings that we have seen in a long time. The Omni Grove Park Inn and wedding design team BobbyMarks Design made this day everything that Jordan and Pat dreamed of. From the clear top tent, to the floral, to the music and candy bar it was clear that they kept their vision throughout the whole process.
Sometimes choosing between black and white or color is too hard, especially when it comes to photos with great detail. Often we give our couples a variety of both edits and let them choose which one they like better.
Jordan was such a happy bride. we adored getting to capture that joy and her classic beauty on her wedding day.

We had a great time photographing this wedding party! They were able to relax and have fun with us, which made it an enjoyable experience for everyone.
When showing a bride her reception for the first time, you can get a variety of reactions. Jordan’s reaction was our fav.
We could seriously spend all day talking about how stunning this venue is, but let’s take a moment to talk about the clear top tent. Can we stop and admire this beauty just for a second?
Jordan and Pat’s evening ceremony was a dream. The romantic environment at the Grove Park Inn was the PERFECT setting for their wedding. The lighting from the setting sun provided a glow of warmth that washed over everyone as Jordan and Pat said their vows.
We’ve never seen groomsmen cry more at a wedding than the day Jordan and Pat said their vows. The men in Pat’s life were all in tears at the ceremony. We can tell that Pat is well loved by his family and friends, who traveled far and wide to support him.
Having a November wedding you never know what kind of weather you are going to get. And honestly we can not get enough of this warm light from the sun.
This was a first for us. We’ve never really taken photos of a couple in their empty ceremony site. It was such a lovely setting, we couldn’t resist taking some extra moments to soak it all in.
Jordan and Pat are the embodiment of love, loyalty and friendship.
These mountains are why people have an Asheville wedding. Their glory and majesty make for a stunning backdrop.
Jordan and Pat’s wedding reception was everything you could hope for. It had sentimental speeches, a fantastic band, and a candy bar! And who could forget the man they hired to hand make cigars.
Jordan & Pat did not just want their guests to have a great ceremony, they wanted them to have fun. They wanted the experience to reflect who they are and what their wedding meant to them. That’s why BobbyMarks Designs flipped the ceremony into a lounge area where their guest could snuggle up with blankets, drinks and cigars.
Jordan and Pat brought their A game with this candy bar, which literally took our breath away! And who could forget this glorious champagne wall? Complete with a cotton candy topping and stripped straw. Bobby and Mark (pictured here with Jordan and Pat) know how to win over the hearts of the people.
Rhythm Nation brought down the house and gave us one heck of a party!

A bit about Jordan: I grew up in Sarasota, Florida. I am currently in my 5th year teaching, and I love it! When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, going out to eat, and drinking wine.
A bit about Pat: Pat grew up in Washington, D.C. He is a big Georgia Bulldog fan and loves to cook
How did you meet? Freshman year of college at High Point University
How long have you been together? 8 years
What are your favorite hobbies and activities to do as a couple? We love to try new restaurants but also stay in and cook new recipes together!
Who popped the question and HOW? Pat asked Jordan to marry him when they were on vacation in Hilton Head Island.
Why did you choose to have an Asheville wedding and how did you decide on your venue? We fell in love with The Grove Park Inn on a weekend trip and knew that’s where we wanted to eventually get married!
What adjective best describes your spouse on your wedding day? We were both so giddy with excitement!
What tangible detail of your wedding day did you love the most? (Cake, dress, special item?) We both loved our flowers!

What did you and your guests eat at the reception? Surf and turf, Steak and Sea Bass with mashed potatoes and asparagus
What was the flavor of your wedding cake? Marble
What is the one of the funniest things that happened on your wedding day? Pat saying “I do” too early
What was your first dance song and why did you pick it? At Last by Etta James- we decided on this song before we were even engaged when were on a road trip to to visit family. We have both always loved this song!
What stood out to you the most when you think of your wedding? The cigar roller
