When our friends Jamie and Tori asked us to capture their wedding at the Hard Rock Punta Cana Resort, we JUMPED at the chance. Good friends, fun times, and beauty in paradise? We couldn’t resist.
Here are a few teaser photos from their gorgeous wedding in Paradise.
Their big day was on Valentines day and when I asked Michael if he wanted to photograph a wedding on his birthday, in the tropics, he was like, “yeah!!”
Victoria (Tori) was a red headed VISION on her big day. From the braided hair to the lace on her feet she had every detail covered.
While waiting to go to her ceremony, Meriah asked Tori to do a little twirling in the sunshine. This girl fully embraced her beauty.
The ceremony was on the gorgeous beach at the resort. Forty or so of their closest friends and family came to celebrate this amazing union.
I don’t know what Jamie’s mom said to him in this moment, but he lost it, and pretty much didn’t recover till after the vows. It was beautiful.
The joy was palpable.
The bridesmaids and flower girls wore aquamarine gowns and we thought they looked amazing with that gorgeous Dominican Republic water!
Since we loved twirling so much, we did it again on the beach.
And then we had Jamie give her a whirl.
One of my personal favorite moments was when we rode away on the golf cart (cans in tow) and went around the massive resort and took a few additional photos. This pond was a favorite for all of us.
Onward to a rooftop reception on top of the restaurant Toro on the Resort where we enjoyed a HUGE buffet, drinks, sweets, and dancing.
At sunset Tori and Jamie had their first dance.
Jamie’s dance with his mom was fun and full of laughter.
Tori’s dance with her dad had us all tearing up. #daddysgirl
Thank you Tori and Jamie for allowing us to share in your love. It is a trip we will never forget!
