Throw back to one of my favorite Asheville engagement sessions back in the Autumn.
Lori and Taylor were such a delight! We had planned to go up to Black Balsam and have a mountain session at sunset but it became evident that the weather was not going to cooperate with that. Rain was coming! So, they were gracious to allow me to photograph their session earlier in the day and instead of mountain backdrops we went to a gorgeous waterfall! We stopped at some of the beautiful overlooks on the way up. Good thing! The fog was coming and I had a hunch that I should get the mountain shots now!
We skipped Black Balsam knob (It was already in a thick blanket of fog!) and we headed to the laurel woods on our way to a waterfall at Graveyard Fields.
The fall color was perfect!
They loved this waterfall as much as I do. I fell in love with their chemistry too!
And just as we were wrapping up the fog rolled in!
Which made for a cool effect during our last few photos.
Thanks Lori and Taylor for being so flexible! It was great to get to hang with you guys and we wish you the very best as you start this new chapter in your story!
