Alissa and Joseph will be married this year at the Omni Grove Park Inn. It is always nice to get to know a couple before their big day and one of the best ways to do this is to go on an adventure!

They allowed me to take them up to Black Balsam for some mountain photos at sunset. Right as the sun was going down this mist came rolling in to give our photos that glorious “something extra”.

Our hike started in the pine forest at the base of the mountain.
Then we hiked up to capture these glorious views! The moon was showing off as well.
They brought their amazing dog Nora with us on our adventure. Nora is a miniature golden and may or may not have her own instagram page. 😉


I am constantly blown away by the beauty of our mountains. I always encourage our couples to take time to soak it in as well.
