As Asheville wedding photographers we love that we have 4 seasons here in the mountains of North Carolina and South Carolina. Here is why.

Lauren and Josh were married at Pretty Place Chapel on a cloudy but beautiful Autumn day. Hands down this was the best color of the year for us. It was simply stunning.

Now, lets back up a bit to the beginning of this gorgeous wedding! Here are a few of our favorite getting ready moments.

Lauren’s sweet puppy loved being in the middle of everything as you can see!

Lots of tears to be shared! This is the moment when Lauren’s mom gave her the handkerchief with her own handwriting embroidered onto it.

Josh’s mother Janet gave Lauren this sapphire ring to wear for the day. Josh remembers his mom wearing it a lot while growing up. I love that.

First look with dad brought out even MORE tears all around!

We LOVED Josh’s bowtie! It was a handcrafted feather bowtie made by a charleston company called Brackish.

The fellas just hanging out.

The gals loved the color surrounding the not so busy road. So naturally we took photos among it.

First look at Kenmure next to the lake? YES PLEASE.

Alongside the lake was the perfect place for group photos!

Onward to South Carolina for the Ceremony at Symmes Chapel at Pretty Place.

I mean… This is a seriously gorgeous bride!!

Lauren’s bouquet was wrapped in a sleeve from Lauren’s mom’s wedding dress! What an AMAZING idea.

We have never seen paint used for the tree sign. Loved it.

First Dance.

You can tell that these 2 have a great relationship with their parents. These moments were precious.

Jack n’ Diane’s Dueling Pianos kept the dance floor hoping and were very entertaining!
