Bethany and Todd were married on a not so sun shiny day in April. Despite their disappointment of having to move their wedding inside, they put on smiles and “rolled with it”. I think God rewarded their good hearts with a miraculous sunset. Why there was a sunset, I don’t know, because it did NOT stop raining. The clouds simply parted at the right moment as the sun set. The staff at the Crest Center were overheard saying it was one of the most beautiful sunsets they had ever seen. I personally have never seen a sunset so orange! It was gorgeous. And as soon as it was over, the clouds and fog rolled in and the mountains were gone again. Priceless.

The bride and groom played a game I had never seen before. They called it “the shoe game.” The Matron of honor, and the best man came up with the questions to ask the bride and groom. The bride and groom took off their shoes. Each one had one of their own shoes and one of the other person’s shoes. They sat back to back and were to answer each question by either holding up the bride’s shoe if they thought she was the answer to the question, or they would hold up the groom’s shoe if they thought he was the answer to the question. Some of the questions were… “Who drives better?” and “Who is a better cook?” It was hilarious their responses and even more hilarious when they answered the question opposite of each other.



Fantastic entertainment by the band Hot Sauce. They had that party hopping!
