I can’t believe our baby is one!! Many of you know our story and how the Mozingo’s lives have changed over this past year! We welcomed our dear sweet Ezra into this world over a year ago. Little did we know how much our world would change. Our world is now full of giggles and screams, bed time stories and brushing little teeth, dirty diapers and bath time splashes, toys scattered everywhere and finger prints on the windows, a few less movies and a little less sleep, more sweet snuggles and more stopping to take in the little things of life, more adventures and more exploring. Our Ezra is a passionate little fella. He is “all boy” and is absolutely into everything. It is exciting to see him learn and explore. Michael and I look at life a bit differently now as we look at it through the learning eyes of our Ezra. Our lives are so much more full because of him.

Our photographer Jill was there to capture his birth, and of course we wouldn’t want anyone else to capture his first birthday party! Little did we know she was super sick with food poisoning, and she still showed up! This is truly a photographer that loves her clients and her art. We are so grateful to have her in our lives!

We did a simply birthday party at a local rec. center. Our boy loves to swim and has many cousins and friends that do as well. We decided to scratch spending money on decor and went with spending money on fun!:)

Our cake was designed by our amazing cousin Cathy. She did our wedding cake, Ezra’s shower cake and now his first birthday cake! I simply showed her a picture of what I was thinking and by golly she did exactly what I wanted. And it tasted so fantastic too! As you can see, Ezra thought so too.:)

Thanks for allowing us to share a bit of our lives with you. As Asheville wedding photographers we want our potential clients and friends to know us and our values. We value our family and love that this business allows us to spend more time with our son. Thank you for allowing us to that privilege!

Ezra’s own personal “smash cake”. We feasted on the big one!

It was a slow start…

But it wasn’t long before he realized how much he loved sweets!

He wanted to share his goodness.

Swim time with Daddy!

  • Jill - What an honor to work with you all, and capture these precious events for you and your family.

Tiffany didn’t get married here in the mountains but this is where she wanted to have her bridals done. And who could blame her! As Asheville wedding photographers we love shooting mountain bridal sessions at sunset! Tiffany was so sweet and adventurous. I enjoyed getting to hang with her and her family as we took a little hike together.

Congrats Tiffany on this new chapter in your story!

This was Mozingo Photography’s first New Years Eve wedding and it did not disappoint. Michael and I were really excited to ring in the New Year with Amber and Terris. The details were just stunning and the dancing was so much fun! At one point I overheard one of the guest exclaiming on the phone to a friend “I am at the best NYE party/wedding EVER!”

The wedding was coordinated and designed by the fabulous Tara Jordan with Weddings with Tara and was at Biltmore’s Lioncrest.

Michael and I will never forget this New Years 2014. What a way to bring in a new year. Congrats to this happy couple!

The fabulous work of Weddings with Tara!

Ceremony decor. Yes, please! This was beautiful!

Look at that reception!

Blush by Wendy Ballance is doing her thing! Isn’t she amazing?!

The beautiful Amber!

Her hair was done by Tamara Taylor Dugue (Hair Connoisseur, Columbia, MD)

First look under the mistletoe at the Biltmore Inn.

A beautiful winter wedding cake by the fabulous Biltmore pastry chef!

It was such a beautiful ceremony! Fantastic job by Rev. William Ashford.

In the words of Amber as she pointed up at the decor “This changed my life.”:)

Mad props to Blossoms at Biltmore Park for this beautiful masterpiece!

One of my favorite candid moments with Terris! This about sums up the evening. Lots and lots of laughter.

Some of the most meaningful toasts I have ever heard. We absolutely loved them.

Let the dancing begin! This was a band out of Atlanta. Henry Conerway III put this fabulous band together for the evening.

Happy New Year!!

All I can say is this Father of the Bride had some moves!!

Those moves had us all in stitches!
