Amy and Drew chose the Lake Lure Inn and Spa just outside of Asheville, NC to host their wedding. Tailor stitched Converse All-Stars and a precious message on a softball marked some uniqueness in this event. And, I must add, Sound Extreme broke out some authentic DJ-ing with all the technical goodies on the turntables. (An opportune moment for breaking in those Converses!) Congratulations Amy and Drew and keep on dancing!

A New Chapter- The Mozingos Become Three

We are so happy to announce a new addition to Mozingo Photography! Michael and I welcomed our first born son, Ezra, into the world on January 30th. It truly was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

Our dearest friend and fellow Asheville photographer Jill Schwarzkopf of Realities Photography was there to capture our first moments with our son. I wasn’t sure how the birth was going to go but I did know I would want some images of this life changing event. Next to our wedding, this was the second biggest event in our lives.

I had no idea how much I would love the images. Since Michael and I love being behind the camera not in front of it I was a little nervous about how we would look in such a raw setting. However, I was blown away by the images of the real life moments she captured. They are priceless to us and we realized that having Jill there was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Jill later came to our home and did a lifestyle family session. We focused on having her capture our favorite things to do with our wee one.

Pat Lance - Little Ezra is so handsome! I can’t believe how alert he is at such a young age. He has certainly come into this world with two very special people as parents. The Lance’s wish you all the best and congratulations!

High Hampton Inn Wedding with Jena and Blake!

Jena and Blake were married at High Hampton Inn which is a majestic gem of a venue nestled in the mountains of Cashiers, NC. The location’s backdrop with a crystal clear lake and towering rock faces in the mountains made us wonder why we haven’t heard more about this spot. The ceremony site sits on a hilltop with full panoramic views. The small but important details that Jena and Blake chose for their special day were quite unique too. A couple of items pictured below were the groom’s bright blue fly fishing lure in place of a traditional floral boutonniere and also assorted skeleton keys with hand written messages from their guests that were hung on a wooden wall piece. Beautiful venue, beautiful details, beautiful couple, beautiful wedding!
