I knew as soon as I met Janna that I would like shooting her wedding. She and I got along fabulously and I was struck by her grace and beauty. Her smile and overall warmness made me feel like we had known each other for a long time even though we had just met! The genuine smiles and laughter she and Michael shared with one another made us know that they were very happy together, and of course, created great moments for the photos!
Janna and Michael were married at the Farm near Asheville NC. My Michael and I have grown fond of this venue, even on a rainy day! You will see from the photo below that they even have giant horses… just kidding.
The groom’s mom made all of the desserts on this dessert table! They were a hit and I can personally say that the bourbon balls were amazing! The cake was made by the fabulous Callie’s Confections!
The bride got ready at the Hotel Indigo. The views from the suite were amazing!
The fella’s got ready at Janna and Michael’s home. Michael plays soccer and so do most of his groomsmen. The world cup was in full throttle and most of the getting ready happened in front of the TV so they could watch the exciting finale of the game.
I love these moments with the bride and her siblings.
I loved the colors in these bouquets! Props to Occasions by Emily!
We waited out the rain and started the ceremony when it slacked off. They were determined to have that wedding outside! I am so glad they did.
Some of the best moments of a wedding happen right after the ceremony with the family and friends.
Even with a bit of drizzle these two couldn’t stop smiling. I especially loved when Michael asked us to give him and Janna a moment. I am not sure what he was saying to her but I loved that they both took time to “take it all in” and enjoy the moment. We could tell that they had a beautiful friendship as well as a romance.
Let the reception begin!
This is when the bride and groom initiated a toast with a special drink Michael’s grandfather had made. Michael’s grandfather was not able to attend the wedding so they got him on speaker phone and he was able to be a part of the toast. It was a beautiful and fun moment.

Luellas BBQ was a hit!
There were truly some moving and funny moments throughout the reception. My Michael and I live to capture such moments so they live forever. This wedding had no shortage of beautiful moments.
Shout out to these fabulous wedding professionals! Without them this day wouldn’t had been such a success!
