It has been one year today since this couple was hitched on Max Patch. It was a simple and intimate wedding on a most beautiful mountain bald.
Here is a look back at their special day. Happy one year anniversary Jeff and Ashley!!!
Ashley and Jeff and I hiked up first. Jeff picked wildflowers along the way for Ashley’s bouquet. It was a simple detail to show off this wedding’s uniqueness.
While I took a few photos of Ashley and Jeff at the ceremony site, Michael met and led the rest of the families up to the top of the mountain. Jeff’s two daughters met them at the top with more flowers, hugs, and smiles.
During the ceremony everyone joined in two circles. Jeff’s family held hands in one and Ashley’s family held hands in the other. After a moment, all joined together in one circle signifying the two families becoming one.
Lavender is symbolic of love and devotion. It also means “the promise of a new adventure.” The three young girls in the family spread lavender around the circle.
Ashley’s dad officiated the wedding. He did an excellent job at making it extra fun, sweet, and personal to Ashley and Jeff.
Ashley took a moment in the ceremony to give Jeff’s two daughters flowers from her bouquet. She shared special words with the girls. It was a precious moment for sure.
Picnics, music, and games followed the ceremony and everyone had a blast enjoying the beautiful weather and the amazing scenery.
