Haley and Heather are sisters. They are also Michael’s first cousins. I was so excited to get to hang out with these beauties and capture some portraits of them.
All of us adorned in our cowgirl boots we headed to this amazing field I discovered last week. Nothing says “Fall” l like redheads, freckles, orange trees and cowgirl boots!

This is quiet possibly one of Waynesville’s most quaint and wonderful venues. Nothing screams more southern than an old-timey farm house and a red barn!
Twin maple farmhouse hosted our Waynesville wedding vendor photo session. Even though I grew up in Waynesville I had no idea that this treasure existed. I am so glad they turned it into a venue for weddings and events. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with.

When I met Diane Emerson I immediately fell in love with her vision for wedding design and coordinating. She desires to bring a uniqueness and quality to weddings in the Waynesville area. We met for coffee one day in Waynesville and she expressed her love for the Waynesville area and how unique it is. She has been a business owner in that area for some time and knows the town and the people well. Being from Waynesville myself, I can appreciate her desire to boost the Wedding industry there.
Diane and I began to scheme after our coffee date and decided to do a portfolio building shoot. We tag teamed with other wedding vendors in the Waynesville area to make the session unique to that area. I was in charge of finding the models and the dresses and of course the photography side of things. Diane helped me coordinate finding some incredible people to do hair and makeup (see below). Twin Maple Farms was so gracious to allow us to use their beautiful venue, and Diane did all of the country/chic decor.
