Cakey and Mark’s Omni Grove Park Wedding this past October was simply stunning and TOO much fun. Michael and I found ourselves smiling so, so much throughout the day. So much so that our cheeks hurt!
This moment with Cakey and Mark is probably our favorite. She was so so happy after being pronounced that she cried happy tears the whole way back down the aisle.
Let’s back up to the beginning of the day. The weather was super perfect. The sun was shining but it wasn’t too hot!
Although they didn’t get the leaf color they desired the floral more than made up for the lack of color on the trees. This is Meriah’s favorite kind of floral… lots and lots of color! Luck with The Flower Gallery of Asheville nailed it.

The bridal party was WAY too much fun.

Let the ceremony begin! Mary with Mary Bell Events did a great job getting everyone where they needed to be and down the aisle. We love working with her and her team. They are always super organized!
These are always some of our favorite moments. Michael often follows the couple out of the ceremony to capture these congratulatory moments. There were loads of happy tears and smiles. You can tell that Cakey and Mark are well loved.

We love it when the bride doesn’t mind to scale a wall. Meriah’s shot is on the left and Michael’s shot is on the right. While photographing the bride and groom, Meriah often shoots wide and Michael shoots tight producing totally different styles of photos!

The band Cashmere ATL brought it! We loved the party that broke out due to their amazing music.
Why not repurpose that wedding arch to add to the gorgeous cake table?
Toast by the Father of the Bride made us laugh so so much.
