We love that Alissa and Joseph got married during the golden hour. Their Omni Grove Park Inn Wedding was stunning and the sunlight beaming through during the ceremony made the photos dreamy and romantic!
The Mountain View Terrace at the Grove Park Inn has a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is an amazing place for a wedding.

A spontaneous first look with the Mother of the Bride. This was not planned and we never get first looks with moms. This was a beautiful moment.
Now it is time for the first look with dad.
Lots of tears and sweet moments between this daughter and her parents.
Alissa wrote a letter to her parents to have them read out loud with her. You can really tell that Alissa has a special relationship with her parents.
Onward to the first look with the main man, Joseph.
Capturing the wedding day means capturing everything that happens. Even the fact that Joseph got stung by a bee on the hand RIGHT before first look! This is him showing Alissa the sting. I know it hurt but it did bring a good laugh for the two of them!

She says she feels awkward when having her photo made. But, oh my! This gal is rocking that veil. Simply stunning.

We had a bit of a breeze during the ceremony which actually made the weather feel quiet nice. However, that veil did its own thing. (We kind of dug that!)
When grown men cry… we love that. (We may have had a tear in our eye too!)
