It’s moments like this that make us love what we do. #momentjunkie
When I think about Ariel and Alex I think about a quote from one of my favorite movies, Steel Magnolias. “They look like they were carved out of cream cheese!” This couple is stunning! How fitting they were married at Homewood, which looks like a castle.
Michael and I enjoyed getting to capture this lovely wedding last month. You can tell by the photos that we were kind of in love with the twinkle lights. When we asked Ariel what she wanted most in her photos she said she wanted a romantic feel. The couple’s chemistry and the wedding decor made that an easy task!
Ariel’s mom, Marylou, made the bridesmaid’s dresses. The skirt actually came off to reveal a shorter cocktail dress.
Ariel made the tie pins for Alex and all his groomsmen. Ariel’s mom also made Alex’s vest. Could this family be any more talented?!
That moment when the minister gives the groom a drink out of his flask. 😉
This fiddle player was kind of amazing.
The father of the bride was so proud of his daughter and it showed.
Alex’s parents looking on.
The minister Howard Hanger had everyone laughing so hard. A lot of laughter and a lot of crying.
You may kiss the bride!
That moment outside after walking down the aisle.
Candid moments with the bridal party are my favorite.
Amazing chemistry with this couple.
Sometimes it takes 4 people to bustle that dress. 😉
The reception decor was very lovely.
Around the center pieces were quotes written on sashes.
This. First. Dance.
The toasts brought lots of smiles and happy tears too.
A father dances with his daughter.
So much laughter in this mother/son dance.
Michael and I agree, some of our favorite shots from weddings are the dancing shots. This crowd loved to dance and were good at it too! Mitch Fortune Productions kept the dance floor hopping all evening!
That moment when the dude that caught the garter puts it on the gal that caught the bouquet. He was classy about it!
Congrats Ariel and Alex!!
